The NightmareI'm alone in the dark, I'm drifting, drifting away from home
Where am I?
I find myself somewhere familiar and yet not
I look around this strange landscape and someone or maybe something is standing there watching, staring at me
Is it a person? Or a creature? Or perhaps both?
It starts coming toward me and I feel it's coming for me
I must run, but some force slows me down
Though I yell for someone to save me I know no one will come
For they cannot hear me, my voice snatched away
I feel my heart racing in my chest, I fear that I cannot escape from this nightmare
Just when I begin to weep in fear, suddenly, I am falling
Falling into a void
When I finally open my eyes I see the safety of my room
I lay back down knowing I am safe
Until the thing in my dreams comes back, then I will be ready to face it
Season of the WitchSomething slow and arcane
culls this fire
and flares like ghosts.
It stirs your soul,
splits the iris of your eye,
a spectrum to haunt October -
ruddy gold and rust,
followed by a dark so smooth,
it smothers embers
and roosts upon the river,
too deep to drown you.
And in the depths -
muddles silt and pine,
witches' brew of
tar voiced stones
and hold you down
Blackbeard's LoverThey called him the devil,
Evil in the form of a man;
I cannot say if this is true,
For I knew him only on land.
He visited only once,
The Carolinas grand and great
Compared to me; I still believe
Our meeting was but the cause of fate.
He was a man of many talents-
He knew how to fight, scare, and govern;
All the experienced women waited in line,
Fantasizing about what they could learn
From the master of all, Edward Teach,
A legend of land and king of the sea.
I suppose he did not favor their goods or tone,
For then he looked at me.
His eyes scanned over me, and I was afraid,
Wondering what he could want me for;
I was not as pretty or bold as the others,
But I realized he wanted more than a whore.
He stared longingly and gestured for me;
I took notice and on his lap sat-
He winked and grinned broadly at me
Then placed on my head his pirate hat.
"Lovely girl, why do thee hide?
Ye presence is all I kindly beseech-
Ye make me smile and forget all others-"
These were the words of Edward Te

How do I join the Group?
There should be a little Join this Group icon just at the top of the menu once you decide to come here; click on it, and you should automatically join in.
How do I submit/contribute an artwork?
Simple, all you need to do is become a member of the group and just submit your work in ONLY a certain gallery folder that fits the subject of your art. I will be the one to select what will be in the featured category. All work must be in relation to the supernatural and/or historical documentations relating to such; if I find a non-supernatural work, then it's outta here.
Can I suggest art to favorites?
Yes, you can.
Can I upload mature content and/or violent gore?
You can, as long as the subject is of course properly labeled as mature, otherwise there'd be some complaints. But I suggest posting an artwork with a more somewhat PG-13 content for now, I really don't want to get into any discussions on how a minor is looking up dirty art and stuff. However, I will disclaim any work that's too tastless or too mature when posting. You may ask by leaving a about a particular piece if you're not certain, we'll be sure to reply.
Can I be Founder?
No, you cannot; sorry.
Can I be Co-Founder?
Also no, but if you do seem to have respcet and do a good job with your support of the group; we'll see. But if I find any bad vibes in the group, you'll be KICKED OUT immediately.
For now, the position is not open at this time.
Could I donate for a Super Group?
You can if you wish; generosity is a good thing. Be sure to note me GhostDragoness first before we go any further.
Have fun and thank you for your cooperation!
